Great place in a vibrant part of town! Delicious food and lovely staff, we were treated very well. Chef was welcoming and super helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. Relaxed, casual atmosphere, but still plenty of energy in the kitchen. Love the dark wood interior and sitting at the bar in front of the chefs was a brilliant experience. Many thanks to all the team for a fantastic meal!

A blacksmith town shop with a few bars in Nagasaki city. It's delicious whenever you go, and it's a popular shop that's always crowded. There are many menus of meat, vegetables etc. centering on the seafood menu. The dishes and dishes used are also very elegant. The staff is also polite and friendly.The only negative point is that it has not been smoked.As there is no parking lot because it is in downtown area, please use nearby paid parking.

This is the best izakaya experience we had: every dish was well done and quite affordable! The grated yam steak was a hidden gem that must not be missed and the meatball with chicken and poached egg was baked to perfection. The mackerel and tempura were well done, and the egg roll was simple but excellently made: fluffy yet creamy! Definitely recommend coming here while in Nagasaki!

One of the best Izakaya in town (you can check more reviews on TripAdvisor indeed). The food is not pre-made so that the chef does take some time to prepare the food. This is actually nice so that the food is served in hot, and you can enjoy it right away. There are many choices in the Izakaya so that you shouldn’t be disappointed; and the price is very reasonable. My wife and I have had a lot of food and at the end it costs less than 5,000 Yen per head. Quality food with reasonable price, why the wait?

Christmas dinner 2014. Amazing dinner! The food selection (seafood & meat) was excellent. The wait staff as very attentive and friendly. Drinks came fast. I made a mistake in my order, I asked them to change it and they did it with a smile. The atmosphere is that homey local feeling with dark wood used every where. It stays open late and the surrounding area is full of life. Bathrooms are very clean. Cooking and eating areas also very clean. I will recommend to my friends. Best choice for good food and good fun!
